Buzz Lightyear appeals to the target audience because he is a heroic symbol that always saves the day. it mostly appeals to young boys as they have ambition of becoming a superhero when their young, and buzz portrays the stereotypical image of a childhood superhero. the heroic music is always played with buzz lightyear and he speaks in commanding voice with the famous catchphrase "to infinity and beyond!"
